Just had an urge to search about quotes on dreams.

Few weeks back, during one of the as-usual powerful cgs, I had a revelation.

Jamie prayed for me and told me to start dreaming big.

In my mind I was stirred up.

I thought I had always been dreaming... To be a doctor, to be a keyboardist etc.

That was when God came in and spoke.

Dreaming, and dreaming big. They're worlds apart.

Dreaming is man-made, but dreaming big is God-given.

Anyone can dream to be something/someone, dreaming is free. It's so easy!

But alot of times, our dreams are realistic, or should I say, it's too realistic.

Why?

Because of the fear that is present in our hearts. The fear of failing, the fear of being unable to achieve our dreams

It stops us from dreaming further, dreaming bigger...

In 2 Kings Chapt 2 V9:

"When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, "Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?"

"Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit," Elisha replied."

You see, Elijah didn't just ask for anointing to be upon him.

He boldly asked for double anointing..

I believed that that was his dream.

Perhaps some would have just been contented with a little, half or the equal anointing.

But Elisha settled for double and nothing less.

I'm really challenged to dream bigger. :>

When you dream big, you're inspired to think bigger, that's when you'll grow bigger.
